Loviet
A powerhouse of 90’s-tinged indie rock, alternative pop, Loviet (pronounced like Soviet
with an L) has made a name for herself supporting critically acclaimed artists like The
Beaches, Giant Rooks and Jesse Jo Stark and performing at festivals such as Lollapalooza,
Riot Fest and Summerfest Milwaukee. Her live show, described by Exclaim! Magazine’s
Megan LaPierre is ‘larger than life’, delivering a show that is fit for an arena. Praised for her
‘signature, shimmery hooks with emotionally honest lyrics’ (Notion) and ‘addictive, retro
pop-rock...’ (CBC), Loviet, nee Natalie Lynn, has spent the last 5 years in Toronto, honing
her craft, touring throughout Canada, UK and the US while growing her fanbase and
catalog independently. Loviet is the winner of Music Nova Scotia’s Rock Recording of the
Year 2024 and the East Coast Music Award’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year 2025 for EP
The Nighttime Is All In The Timing (produced by American indie-rock band Now, Now). Her
brand new self-produced record DEBUTANTE was released on April 10, 2026 featuring the
most unblushing, rock driven portrayal of the artist to date.
"..part coming-of-age, part industry autopsy, part reclamation of identity in real time. Built
on a glitter-meets-grunge sonic palette, the EP fuses high-gloss pop instincts with
distorted, gritted teeth guitar work and ferocious, speaker-rattling choruses..." - The Luna
