PISS

A noisy, genre-bending four-piece punk band from Vancouver, PISS combines music, poetry, sound collage, performance art, and various mediums of visual art to address complex themes that blur the line between personal and political. It’s punk that aims to transcend the limitations of the genre by pulling inspiration from a wide range of unexpected influences.

RACHEL BOBBITT

Rachel Bobbitt is a Nova Scotia-born, Toronto-based indie singer-songwriter whose poetic, art‑pop sound channels emotional depth and raw honesty. Rising from viral Vine covers as a teen, she’s released acclaimed EPs—including The Ceiling Could Collapse and 2023’s The Half We Still Have—on Fantasy Records. Blending intimate vocals, warmly incisive lyrics, and shimmering guitar-driven arrangements, Bobbitt explores cycles of grief, identity, and connection, crafting confessional stories that resonate long after the final note fades.

JAYWOOD

JayWood is the genre-blurring, alt hip-hop/indie neo-soul of Jeremy Haywood-Smith. His self-produced, Polaris-nominated album Slingshot and EP Grow On earned praise from KEXP, CBC, Paste, and more. Recent singles like “BIG TINGS” (feat. Tune-Yards) and “UNTITLED (Swirl)” showcase his refusal to be boxed in. The upcoming single “ASSUMPTIONS” continues this trend—psychedelic, bold, and brimming with neo-soul swagger, channeling influences from Tyler, the Creator to Stereolab and Men I Trust.

HANAKO

Montreal-born Hanako is a singer-songwriter who blends indie folk, rock & roll and dream pop. After My River Goblin (2024), a debut album hailed for its lyrical maturity, she explores the soundscapes of childhood on KakoBako (2025). She is currently preparing a third project in collaboration with the local scene.
